We had an amazing time at Forever O’Hana in February. The BeachBum team was super helpful through the process, with the pandemic we did have some back and forth on dates and details on our side. Their team was amazing to work with and always very responsive, we had one little question about the shades and they came within a couple of hours. The property was amazing. Gorgeous view of the beach, stocked as they had described. The Beach Club was really nice, if you have kids do be warned that the only time the kids are allowed in the pool is from 12-6 (which is a really silly time since small kids nap for half that window) but that’s on the Beach Club, not the BeachBum team. Even with that, we were able to get a LOT of pool time in and on our last time there was no one in pool and we went down there in the morning.
The only things we would have changed about our trip were to:
— Get a rental car (because of the bridge being out and it being an hour from the airport each way) so it likely makes more sense for you to get a car ($90 each way for a shuttle..and then making $30 in Ubers to get groceries for the week at Publix).
— Called the BeachBum team and checked on what they had for rentals before we hauled everything down there (play pen, booster seat, beach toys). I didn’t check what they had and should have well in advance instead of letting my cheapskate husband talk me into hauling it all down there.
All and all, would definitely book through BeachBum again and the property was perfection. We loved it for our family (two adults, four year old and two year old).
